On Sunday, August 30th, W. Kim Taekwondo students will have the exciting opportunity to participate in the Chicago Taekwondo Expo at Judson University in Elgin.

For many students, we highly recommend the Breaking Competition. It is a fun and exciting way for students to showcase their confidence, technique, and power while competing with others of similar age and rank.

Tournaments are a great way for students to step outside their comfort zone, practice sportsmanship, set goals, and see their hard work pay off. We would love to see a strong W. Kim Taekwondo team represented at this event!

To register, please go to the front desk. Payment can also be made at the front desk, and for this event, cash is preferred. Sign-ups will close on August 20th. As this event is through a third party, please get your sign ups in sooner rather than later.

Competitors will be divided into the following groups:

• Basic Belts: White and Yellow

• Intermediate Belts: Orange through Half Purple

• Advanced Belts: Purple through Brown

• Black Belts and higher
